| Recommended Site Preparations |
- Place Hutches and service aisles on a well-drained
surface with a slight slope. Suggested materials for the site include
gravel, crushed stone or sand.
- Prepare the site large enough to allow hutches
to dormant space. This provides a break in the life cycle of micro-organisms
that "hide" in the soil. Allow for 25% extra hutch space.
- Face hutch entrance away from or perpendicular
to prevailing winds.
- Secure hutches to ground.

- With a fenced yard, Calf-Tel Deluxe®
dimensions are approximately 4 ft. (1219mm) wide by 13 ft. (3962mm)
long.
- We recommend 1 ft. (305mm) between the calf
contact points of each unit with a fence.
- The Calf-Tel Deluxe allows you to configure
hutches head to tail to reduce distance feeder must travel (saves time
and money).
